Site Managers working for local housebuilder, Barratt Developments, which includes both the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, have scooped four prestigious awards in a national competition to find the best-run building sites in Britain. This includes the Senior Site Manager at David Wilson Homes’ Tranby Fields development in Hessle, Hull.
Tranby Fields and its Senior Site Manager, Paul Dearnley, gained official recognition with a Pride in the Job Award for the excellent standards on the site. This is the third time Paul, who has worked at Barratt Developments for 21 years, has won a Pride in the Job Award, having secured the accolade twice before.
Other sites in the region awarded were The Pastures in Knaresborough, Belle Vue in Doncaster and The Chocolate Works in York. The awards are designed to recognise Site Managers who achieve the highest standard in housebuilding.

The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most coveted in the housebuilding industry and have been instrumental in driving standards for 38 years. They are awarded after the construction standard setting body, the NHBC, carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best-organised and best-quality housing developments.
This award comes on the back of Barratt Developments being awarded five stars by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction. Barratt is the only major national housebuilder to be ranked as five star by the HBF for the last nine years.
