These independent B&Bs, guesthouses and boutique hotels represent the pinnacle of UK and particularly Yorkshire hospitality, providing some of UK’s most special holiday experiences in a variety of settings.
eviivo reports that year on year, properties that were shortlisted in previous years command prices that are 8% higher than the rest of the sector and enjoy 17% higher occupancy level across the range of nominees, regardless of the location, grade or type of accommodation they offer.
David Weston, awards judge and Chairman of the Bed & Breakfast Association comments: “With over 1,000 B&Bs opening since 2015, it is great to see that the sector is enjoying a revival. These brilliant B&Bs offer a glimpse of the fantastic range of accommodation this country has to offer its visitors, whether they be domestic or international.”
Fellow judge, former award-winning B&B owner, leading consultant and mentor to the hospitality sector, Yvonne Halling adds: “Running a B&B in the 21st century is demanding and requires multiple skills, hard work and dedication – these awards help to shine a light on and identify the finest businesses within the UK’s hospitality sector.”
The eviivo Awards take place on the 16th October at Quaglino’s on Bury Street, London
