Favourite Aussie venue trials epic pop-up roast chicken menu
Walkabout Sheffield is premiering an all new food menu revolving entirely around the mighty dish that is roast chicken.
Sheila’s roast chicken is caramelised in your favourite sauce and charred in-house on the barbie. Customers can pick from ½ a bird, double ½ bird, crispy wings or ripped chicken burger with their choice of sticky BBQ, peri peri, chilli and garlic or hot buffalo sauce. The famous Classic Parmi is also still on the menu, alongside a Ripped Chicken House salad. Vegans are also welcome to the party and will want to give the Aussie Vurger a try, a Thai spiced vegetable and soya bean burger with BBQ sauce, gherkins, onions, guacamole, spicy tomato salsa and iceberg lettuce in a sesame seeded bun.
Sides include a number of classics, from corn on the cob to onion rings and garlic bread, as well as a selection of delicious loaded fries: cheese, ham and tomato salsa; BBQ pulled pork or Stilton and Frank’s hot sauce. And to round the meal off, don’t forget the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake.
The menu is only available for a limited time so customers need to head down to Walkabout sharpish, after all, nothing goes better with sports or before a night out than delicious roast chicken!
