The Gift Shop, family business in the village of Reeth, in picturesque Swaledale, North Yorkshire, is on the market as its current owner moves on to pastures new. Jacqueline McShane, is selling the business, which has been established for more than 50 years where she has worked in the shop for more than 18 years, and owned it for 10 years.
She has put the business on the market, with Hilton Smythe and is searching for the perfect new owners for the business she has built up.
Jacqueline said: “The name, The Gift Shop, does not fully describe the full scope of the business as a newsagents, off licence and village store. We sell newspapers, magazines, household items, groceries wines and spirits, ice creams, freshly made sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, confectionary, greeting cards and gifts.
“We enjoy a high level of repeat local trade as well as providing an excellent one-stop shop for tourists and walkers.”
