Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes, inspired by National Gardening Week, has donated gardening equipment to local Boroughbridge Primary School, to encourage and enable the children to make the most of their school’s outdoor space and grow a passion for planting.
To celebrate the week, Sales Adviser Amy, from the nearby Meadow Fields development in Boroughbridge, York, visited the school to gift five colourful gardening kits and seeds to a group of children aged between six and seven years old. The gardening kits, which contained a spade, trowel, rake, watering can and gardening gloves, were gifted to help inspire the children to get involved in gardening on the school grounds.
Barratt Homes donated gardening equipment kits to local primary schools across the region to encourage children to explore and learn about the beauty and benefits of the great outdoors.
