Axiologik, the Leeds-based advanced digital leadership consultancy, is embracing a prosperous start to 2025, having expanded its workforce by 35%, earned an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Best Companies Index, and joined a 9,700-strong global community of B Corp businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental impact.
Located in the city centre and operating across sectors including government, national health, financial services, utilities, and automotive, Axiologik underwent a rigorous 12-month assessment to secure its globally recognised B Corp certification.
The achievement evaluates the entirety of a business’s operations across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. It means Axiologik has been verified as meeting not-for-profit B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile.
Now, the digital consultancy joins over 2,500 certified B Corps in the UK including The Guardian, Patagonia, and Tony’s Chocolonely.
Ross MacGregor, finance director at Axiologik, said: “B Corp certification is more than a badge of honour. It’s a reflection of our ongoing commitment to doing better. While achieving certification is a significant milestone, it’s just the beginning of our journey.
“Our organisation is built around driving positive change, and B Corp perfectly encapsulates this ethos. It provides us with both a framework and the motivation to look beyond profit and examine how and why we operate.
“The process has not only allowed us to celebrate our progress, including our commitment to achieving net zero by 2030 and our ISO 14001 certification, but it has also challenged us to go further.”
Chris Turner, executive director at B Lab UK, said: “We are pleased to have B Corps of all shapes and sizes as part of our community – from startups to multinationals and across many different industries. Business is a powerful force, and B Corps demonstrate that positive impact is possible in any sector.
“Welcoming Axiologik is an exciting moment because they have an opportunity to lead the way within the tech industry. We and the rest of the B Corp community are really pleased to support Axiologik in paving the way for a new way of doing things.”
Other wins for Axiologik include a 35% growth in headcount from January 2025, with women comprising 39% of its workforce – far surpassing the UK tech industry average of 27%. By Q4 2025, the company aims to bring this to 45% female representation.
The growth reflects Axiologik’s reputation as a fair employer, reinforced by its recent award: a prestigious two-star ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Best Companies Index (BCI). Led by people director Sarah Bright, this is a marked improvement from its ‘Very Good’ designation in 2024, and just one level off the ‘World-Class’ workplace engagement status. The recognition follows a significant investment in company values, including trust, authenticity, expertise, personal growth, and learning and development.
These achievements mark the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for Axiologik as it continues to serve its communities, from growing its workforce to investing in the planet.
