Barratt Homes has donated a collection of brand new furniture from a nearby show home to the St Leonard’s Hospice charity shop in Selby, ahead of the newest show home opening at local development, Carlton Green, in Carlton.
St Leonard’s Hospice has been chosen as Barratt Homes’ charity of the year for 2018 and the donation is designed to support them by raising vital funds so they can continue their work with people who need them across the region
The donated collection includes dining room chairs, side tables, lamps, bedside units, a coffee table, plates and cutlery, a two-seater sofa, a television unit, a dressing table, a double divan bed as well as some additional homely accessories
St Leonard’s Hospice is an independent charity that provides much needed, specialist palliative care and support for local people with life limiting illnesses, and relies on donations to help deliver its care free of charge
St Leonard’s Hospice allows patients to enjoy the best possible quality of life during the course of illnesses, as well as their family and friends
