Local housebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West is celebrating the launch of its Community Fund, a scheme which will see a different charity or organanisation receive £1,000 from the housebuilder every month.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, will donate £1,000 a month to support a local charity or organisation within the Yorkshire West region, which includes Barnsley, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Wakefield, Wetherby and Worksop. A different charity will benefit form the Community Fund scheme every month throughout 2019, to show the housebuilders’ dedication to supporting the communities in which it builds.
The housebuilder already supports local charities wherever it can with donations and sponsorships and through its ‘donate a day’ volunteering programme, where staff are invited to spend a day with a charity of their choice, with previous activities taking place with Candlelighters, The Donkey Sanctuary in Wetherby and KidsOut.
