Beyond Housing has taken ownership of the first phase of its new homes on the exciting Northfield Meadows development near the village of Seamer, just outside Scarborough.
Five of the new homes have been made available for affordable rent whilst a further five have been successfully marketed for sale on a shared ownership basis. These comprise a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom homes.
Carried out in partnership with Linden Homes, the project will eventually deliver 36 new homes for Beyond Housing, within a wider 241 home development.
In total, 25 of the Beyond Housing homes will made available for affordable rent while the remaining 11 will be marketed for shared ownership.
Karen Howard, Beyond Housing Development Manager, said: “It’s wonderful to see the first of our new homes on this beautiful site completed despite the necessary restrictions placed upon the construction programme by COVID-19. The successful delivery of these high-quality homes will underline Beyond Housing’s commitment to its ambitious objective of building 2,000 new homes by 2025.”
