One of Yorkshire’s most in demand DJs, Luke Pompey, is set to headline the Tropical White Party at Skipton’s premier Bar and Kitchen, Alexander’s, on July 27.
The high profile Leeds based DJ will play a full set at the Balearic inspired white party themed celebrations, which mark the stylish venue’s first birthday. White Parties are hotly anticipated events which combine live entertainment, white décor and a white dress code for guests.
Holding the main residency for Prism @ Mint Club in Leeds, voted ‘Best Small British Club’ and one of the ‘Best Clubs In The World’ by DJ Mag, Luke has carved out a stellar career, performing alongside top DJs, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris and Erick Morillo at festivals across the world, as well as Ibizan super clubs like Cream and Privilege. Luke also owns and manages Love Not Money Records, whose signings have featured on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Ibiza Global Radio.
Manager of Alexander’s, Catherine White said: “The entertainment at Alexander’s Tropical White Party will also be unlike anything the region has ever experienced so we are delighted that international club DJ, Luke Pompey, is able to headline the event. Our stunning outside terraces and secret garden will be given the full white party treatment with topical floral displays and white billowing fabrics and lanterns, plus there will also be a live saxophonist, stilt walkers and at dusk, stunning fire performers.”
Opening its doors July 2017, following a £2.5M makeover, the independently owned restaurant, which won the Stray FM ‘Best New Business Award 2017’, has become well known for its plush art deco interiors and regular schedule of high quality events and entertainment.
Tickets for the event are just £28pp and include an arrival drink and three course BBQ meal. For further information please visit; alexanders-skipton.com
